After you have read the terms & conditions, fill out the fields at the bottom of this page and submit your registration information.
After your registration information is processed, you will be sent an email that contains a password that will allow you access all MechRel product download pages.
IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY:
COPYRIGHT. The "Handbook of Reliability Prediction Procedures for Mechanical Equipment" hereinafter called the Handbook is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The Handbook and the individual chapters of the Handbook are provided at no charge for your personal use. You may make copies of the Handbook or any portion of the Handbook for your personal use. You agree that you will not reproduce the Handbook or any part of the Handbook to be sold or distributed as part of another product to any other person or persons.
You also agree that you will not reproduce or distribute to third parties copies of the MechRel software product in whole or in part. You agree that you will not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the MechRel software product.
The above restrictions apply to any revisions to the Handbook or Chapters of the Handbook. With respect to technical information you provide to the Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (CDNSWC) as part of the Support Services, CDNSWC may use such information for its technical support purposes, including for product support and development. CDNSWC will not utilize such technical information in a form that personally identifies you.
EXPORT RESTRICTIONS. You agree that you will not export or re-export the Handbook or any of its contents to any country, person, entity or end user subject to U.S.A. export restrictions. Restricted countries currently include, but are not necessarily limited to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. You warrant and represent that neither the U.S.A. Bureau of Export Administration nor any other federal agency has suspended, revoked or denied your export privileges.
NO WARRANTIES. CDNSWC expressly disclaims any warranty for application of the procedures contained in the Handbook or the MechRel software product. These products are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind as a result of applying the information contained in the Handbook or the mechRel software product, either express or implied. The entire risk arising out of use of the procedures contained in these products remains with you.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall CDNSWC or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the application of procedures within the Handbook or the Mechrel software product or the provision of or failure to provide Support Services, even if CDNSWC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
